Who's On Staff?
Dr. Sally Preston, D.M.D., Dentist
joined Howard Dental Center in August 2001. She received her B.A. from Tufts University and her DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Preston has traveled extensively throughout the world and in 1985, she opened her private dental practice in Colorado. She has volunteered for Kids in Need of Dentistry (KIND) and is a member of the Colorado Society of Prosthedontics, Academy of General Dentistry, American society of Stomatological Surgeons in addition to regional and state memberships.
Dr. Kelly Smith, DDS
joins Howard Dental Center after completing her graduate residency at the Veterans Administration. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. During her senior year internship at the dental school, Dr. Smith fell in love with Howard Dental!
David T. Zamboni, R.D.H., Dental Hygienist
David graduated from Community College of Denver in 1998 and has been a hygienist in private practice since then. He has extensive experience in soft tissue management programs. David will be revamping our hygiene department in order to bring our patients to optimum oral health.
Denise Coleman, Office Manager
joined Howard Dental Center in 1996 as a Dental Assistant. She completed coursework establishing her as an expanded duties dental assistant which enabled her to perform a wide array of functions as a chairside assistant. After many years as a chairside assistant, Denise opted to become the Front Desk assistant. In August 2002, she was promoted to the position of Office Manager. She works directly with patients, scheduling appointments, providing intake, establishing referrals. As Office Manager, she is responsible for financial reporting systems, payroll, and accounts payable. She also fills in as a chairside assistant when necessary.
Mercy Diaz, EDDA, chair-side assistant
has been a dental assistant for over 15 years. She is fluent in Spanish. As an expanded duties assistant, having Mercy is like having another 1/2 dentist!
Mary Salsich, Development Director
Mary Salsich is our new Development Director! Mary comes to us from Smart Girl, an organization that trains high school and college girls to mentor middle school girls. With over five years of experience in special events, programming, fundraising and volunteer coordination, Mary will be heading up our fundraising efforts!
Felicia L. Diamond, Executive Director
has over twenty-five years experience in the nonprofit sector. She has served in all aspects of nonprofit management: volunteer, board member, volunteer coordinator, director of marketing and development and executive director. She is the Founder of the Diana Price Fish Foundation, a Denver based cancer support organization. She joined Howard Dental Center in April, 2000. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Diana Price Fish Foundation.
